What the AGM is

An annual general meeting (AGM) is a meeting of the general membership of an association or organization.

In Denmark, this meeting is required by law and the Pamodzi Denmark constitution. The AGM also acts as a review of the year and deals with issues such as the election of committee/board members, reviewing the annual accounts and developing new  strategies/policies.

Although it is a formal meeting, it’s a good opportunity to discuss many issues regarding policy, development of the association and projects to engage in etc. There’s an opportunity to communicate with members and other interested people who want to work together with Pamodzi Denmark. 

This year, the AGM will be an ONLINE meeting via the Zoom platform. The meeting ID and code are indicated on the AGM poster. All friends of Zambia in Denmark, Zambians staying in Denmark and all those of Zambian origin who are the new Danes and their families are invited to attend the AGM.
