This year, 2025, marks a momentous milestone for Pamodzi Denmark association as we celebrate 14 years of existence, growth, and remarkable contributions to the membership. Since inception, Pamodzi association has grown from modest beginnings into a vibrant platform fostering unity, creativity, and empowerment across diverse spheres.
Growth Through the Years
Pamodzi Denmark has blossomed into an integral part of the Danish cultural and social fabric. Over the years, we have expanded our network, embraced inclusivity, and connected individuals passionate about making a difference. Our reach has spread beyond our founding vision, bridging gaps and creating opportunities for collaboration across the Nordics countries and world at large through our membership of the Zambia Diaspora Organisation. With each passing year, Pamodzi has showcased resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to evolving with the needs of its members and society.
Celebrating Achievements
Pamodzi takes pride in its numerous accomplishments, which range from hosting impactful events to promoting cultural exchange, networking, and social well-being. Pamodzi Denmark has been a beacon for creativity through, events, and gatherings that highlight the richness of diverse cultures.
Looking to the Future

The association envisions new horizons, exploring innovative ways to further its impact while continuing to honour the values that have guided it since day one. The Pamodzi DK pillars of success are
Strengthening fellowship, Exchanging experiences, Networking and Resource Mobilisation
strengthening Fellowship
Living in a foreign country can sometimes be tough, especially in dark and difficult times. Pamodzi Denmark offers support through understanding and likeminded members, who can back you up. Pamodzi is here to create a sense of belonging in Denmark.
Exchanging experiences
When we live in Denmark we engage in the Danish society in different ways partly via our job, education, and family relations. In the process we develop knowledge of how to cope with life in Denmark. Exchanging our knowledge and experience is very important as it helps furthering integration.
social networking
Pamodzi Denmark can obviously not function without the social perspective. We are all social beings and we like to see social events happen within the organization. Besides sharing fun experiences we like to get together and celebrate each other and our country
support of development in zambia
Pamodzi Denmark is also very interested in engaging with small scale development activities in Zambia. We wish to support development projects by donating resources or other forms of support.
The strive for a sense of belonging
Pamodzi Denmark will continue working for the creation of a a stronger sense of belonging to Denmark and to Zambia for our members.
We want to continue developing Pamodzi Denmark to be the platform for exchange of experiences, as well as be an Organisation that shall support development projects in Zambia. We need to get better at mobilizing resources that should
make us be able to run projects that go beyond Denmark.
Hence, PamodziDK is encouraging all its members to be proactive and innovative as regards developing project ideas. We hope that the projects shall “naturally” birth interest groups a cross the whole country (Denmark), and not only regionally.
In the same line of thought, we also expect to partner with our Nordic diaspora associations in doing developmental projects in Zambia.
In addition, we as members of PamodziDK should continue supporting each other not only through good times, but as well as dark and difficult times. It´s part of our cultural DNA to support and console each other in such difficult times. Being out here in a foreign environment can be challenging, and hence having a sense of belonging through an association like PamodziDK should be a must for Zambian diasporas in Denmark.
One of our purpose as PamodziDK is helping old and new members of our association in their integration efforts into the Danish society. We desire to initiate more and more member activities that shall enlighten our members about
the Danish society we live in.
All members are encouraged to be innovative in this area too. Besides, since the pandemic is still not fully over, we would like to see more and more virtual members meetings.
Member success stories
Dont’t take our word for it – here’s what our members say:
Committing to a long-term goal is the beginning of your self-discipline journey. Once you have done a mental handshake, confirming a commitment towards that goal, then self-discipline kicks into “high gear”
This is indeed how I feel my journey has been in my membership story of Pamodzi Denmark
